RHIANNON ALLY: This morning, one woman's horror story, after the CDC warned about a growing number of deaths and rare infections linked to contaminated eye drops. At least three people have died, eight have lost their vision, and four needed an eye surgically removed.

Ten brands have been recalled but most cases have been linked to EzriCare and DELSAM Pharma Artificial Tears, both made by India-based Global Pharma. Clara Oliva is now suing the company.

RHIANNON ALLY: She says, she used EzriCare for nine months while battling an aggressive infection, which she says doctors had trouble treating with antibiotics. Oliva says, doctors were forced to remove her eye to keep the bacteria from spreading.

- She has since, with the prosthetic, had difficulties learning, relearning how to do a lot of her daily activities, like walking. Her depth perception has been affected and so she's unstable. And also, she is unable to drive.
