THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS IN THE NEXT COMING DAYS. ALL THE BEST TO YOU AND THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR TALKING WITH US TONIGHT. >> THANK YOU. GOD BLESS. >> WE ARE JOINED NOW BY MARK AND JILL DONNELLY, RIDING OUT THE STORM, JUST EAST OF SARASOTA, FLORIDA. THANK YOU FOR JOINING US. GLAD TO SEE YOU ARE SAFE, DURING WHAT I AM SURE IS A STRESSFUL DAY. JUST DESCRIBE TO US WHAT YOU'VE SEEN AT YOUR HOME AS THE HURRICANE MADE LANDFALL IN YOUR AREA. >> IT STARTED OUT, WE HAD A VERY NICE MORNING, WE JUST HAD A BREEZE OR TWO. PROGRESSIVELY THROUGHOUT THE DAY, THING DETERIORATED VERY QUICKLY AND NOW WE ARE JUST ABOUT 20 MILES OUTSIDE OF THE EYE AND THINGS ARE PRETTY SEVERE. >> WHEN YOU SAY SEVERE, CAN YOU GIVE US A SENSE OF WHAT YOU ARE ACTUALLY SEEING? >> YEAH, THERE ARE SUSTAINED WINDS AND THEY HAVE BEEN TELLING US IT'S ABOUT 95 MILES PER HOUR. 95 MILE PER HOUR GUSTS, BUT THE SUSTAINED WINDS HAVE BEEN PRETTY INTENSE. TONS OF RAIN. IT'S BEEN RAINING SIDEWAYS SINCE PROBABLY 9:00 THIS MORNING AND WE WERE CONCERNED ABOUT TORNADOES AND WE'RE WATCHING ON TV. TORNADOES HAVE BEEN POPPING UP. WE'RE A BIT NERVOUS ABOUT THAT. BUT FORTUNATELY, OUR POWER HAS STAYED ON, COMMUNITIES -- WE HAVE BEEN SO FORTUNATE THAT OUR POWER HAS STAYED ON. >> THIS IS YOUR FIRST HURRICAN, WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO SHELTER AT HOME THROUGH THIS? >> WELL, WE ARE HEEDING THE WARNINGS OF THE GOVERNOR, OF COURSE, AND ALL THE AUTHORITIES TALKING ABOUT, ZONE AND DON'T BE. AND I STARTED TO EVACUATE ZONE AND THEN ZONE B AND THEN ZONE C. AND A ZONE C IS A LITTLE BIT FURTHER INLAND. AS ON THE COAST. B IS NEXT. THEN, SEE. WE ARE IN ABOUT 8 TO 10 MILES FROM SARASOTA, SO THEY DID NOT SAY THAT WE SHOULD EVACUATE, SO WE THOUGHT OKAY. AND OUR STRUCTURE THAT WE LIVE, IN OUR HOME, WAS BUILT IN 2012, SO WE FEEL LIKE IT IS PRETTY STURDY AND SAFE. WE HAVE SANDBAGS AND EVERYTHING WE NEED. WE TOOK ALL THE PREPARATIONS THAT THEY ASKED US TO DO AND WE THOUGHT, OKAY, WE'RE HERE. WE HAVE TWO CATS AND WE DID NOT HAVE ANY PLACE TO TAKE. THEM >> SO FAR SO GOOD WITH REGARD TO YOUR HOME? >> SO FAR SO GOOD. WE ARE ON THE GOLF COURSE AND WE HAVE A PUDDLE THAT CONTINUED -- IT'S MORE OF A STREAM THAT CONTINUES TO GET LARGER AND LARGER. WE DO HAVE SANDBAGS BLOCKING THAT AND TRANS, JUST IN CASE THERE WERE TO BE SOME PROBLEMS WITH THE WATER. >> WHAT ARE YOU AND YOUR FAMILY MOST CONCERNED ABOUT TONIGHT AND GOING INTO THE DAYS AHEAD. >> WE HAVE HEARD REPORTS OF TORNADOES, SO WE KIND OF FEEL LIKE WE'VE GOT TO THE PEAK OF THE WINDS. RIGHT NOW. YOU'LL HEAR US WHISTLING BEHIND US. THOSE HAVE BEEN BAD, BUT MANAGEABLE. AS LONG AS WE DON'T GET HIT BY A TORNADO AND WE HAVE PLENTY OF WATER AND FOOD. OUR SUNDAY CHOCOLATE SHIP COOKIES. SO, WE ARE IN GOOD SHAPE. >> COOKIES! >> JUST FLOODING MAKES ME NERVOUS TO. AND POTENTIALLY TOMORROW, LIKE, SERVICES. WE HAVE POWER. BUT THE AREAS AROUND US DON'T. AND IF WE CAN GET GAS AND WE CAN GET GROCERIES IF WE NEED THEM -- WE STOPPED UP ON ALL OF THOSE THINGS, BUT I DON'T KNOW HOW LONG THE AREA WILL BE OUT OF POWER OR WATER. SO, THAT IS A LITTLE BIT DISCONCERTING. >> OBVIOUSLY. SO, THE CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES WILL MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER. AT LEAST IN THE SHORT TERM. MIKE AND JILL, AT LAKEWOOD RANCH,
