SERVICES. JANAI. >> ALL RIGHT, STEPHANIE, THANK YOU SO MUCH. AS STEPHANIE MENTIONS ABORTION BANS GOING INTO EFFECT INTO SEVEN STATES. THAT NUMBER IS LIKELY TO RISE AS OTHER STATES ACT ON SO-CALLED TRIGGER LAWS TO DESIGNED TO GO INTO EFFECT AT SOME POINT AFTER THE HIGH COURT'S RULING SO HERE WITH WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT HOW THIS AFFECTS YOUR HEALTH CARE IS OB/GYN DR. JESSICA SHEPHERD. DR. SHEPHERD, THANKS FOR BEING WITH US THIS MORNING. FOR THE AVERAGE PERSON, WHAT DOES THE SUPREME COURT OVERTURNING THIS LAW MEAN FOR THEIR HEALTH CARE? >> NOW, YOU KNOW AS AN OB/GYN AND WOMEN'S HEALTH PHYSICIAN THIS IS DEVASTATING WHEN WE THINK OF WOMEN WHO NOW HAVE THIS STRIPPED FROM THEM. YOU KNOW, THIS IS POTENTIALLY CAN CAUSE SEVERE HEALTH, FINANCIAL, EMOTIONAL CONSEQUENCES SO THIS WILL IMPACT PEOPLE ON EVERY LEVEL AND THEIR FAMILIES, THEIR LOVED ONES IN DIFFERENT STATES. WHAT YOU'LL NOTICE BETWEEN THESE TRIGGER LAWS IS, AGAIN, THERE WILL BE DIFFERENCES IN PENALTIES AND EXCEPTIONS. NOW, THAT, AGAIN, CAN MAKE A BIG DIFFERENCE EVEN IF YOU DO TRAVEL TO A STATE THAT MAY BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU ABORTION CARE IS KNOWING WHAT THE PARAMETERS ARE. AND SO THAT'S WHY I THINK AT THIS POINT THERE'S A LOT OF CONFUSION. THERE'S A LOT OF CHAOS BUT WE REALLY HAVE TO DIVE DEEP INTO WHAT ARE THE SPECIFICITIES THAT PEOPLE NEED TO KNOW? >> DR. SHEPHERD, THANK YOU SO MUCH. A LOT OF CONFUSION OUT THERE BUT THAN
