>>> AND WE'RE BACK NOW WITH AN EXTRAORDINARY KID, THE 12-YEAR-OLD WHO CAN CUT AND FADE WITH THE VERY BEST OF THEM. ONE OF THE WORLD'S YOUNGEST FEMALE BARBERS DISCOVERING THOSE SKILLS AT THE AGE OF 7. >> THE FIRST PERSON I CUT WAS A 7-YEAR-OLD BOY. WE WERE BOTH THE SAME AGE, SO I WAS PRETTY NERVOUS. I FELT LIKE I WAS GOING TO MESS UP. IT WAS A PRETTY CLEAN CUT. I STARTED AT THE JUNIOR BARBER ACADEMY, AND I WANTED TO CUT HAIR BECAUSE I WAS INSPIRED BY MY BROTHER AND ALSO BECAUSE I WANTED TO MAKE SOME CASH. I REALLY DID EXPECT MYSELF TO BE THE ONLY GIRL BECAUSE WE DON'T SEE A LOT OF FEMALE BARBERS IN THE SHOP WHICH IS KIND OF MESSED UP. THE REACTIONS I HAVE SEEN, THERE WEREN'T MANY REACTIONS BECAUSE THEY TREAT ME LIKE I'M A MALE BARBER. I JUST DON'T THINK GENDER REALLY MATTERS. I JUST THINK THE TECHNIQUE YOU HAVE MATTERS AND THE SKILLS YOU HAVE. YOU KNOW, ANYTHING A MAN CAN DO A WOMAN CAN DO. YOU JUST GOT TO KNOW THE BASICS OF THE HEAD AND WHERE TO START FROM. YOU HAVE TO BE CONSISTENT WITH YOUR WORK. I JUST KEPT PRACTICING, AND THAT'S HOW I GOT MY CERTIFICATE. WHEN I FOUND OUT THAT I WAS THE WORLD'S YOUNGEST FEMALE BARBER, I REALLY DIDN'T THINK OF ANYTHING BECAUSE THE NAME TITLE TO ME DIDN'T REALLY MATTER, BUT NOW I SEE WHY IT MATTERS. RIGHT NOW I'M IN A FEMALE-OWNED BARBER SHOP, AND I REALLY LIKE TO BE IN THAT ENVIRONMENT BECAUSE IT SHOWS A GREAT ROLE MODEL FOR ME AND FOR OTHER PEOPLE. THE EVENTS I DID WAS HER CHAIR, HIS HAIR. I CUT FOR THE HOMELESS. I DID BACK-TO-SCHOOL CUTS. ONE OF THE FAVORITE CUTS I DID WAS FOR THE HOMELESS BECAUSE I WAS GIVING BACK TO THEM. THE TOP THREE THINGS TO MAKE YOU A GOOD BARBER -- BE CLEAN AND SANITARY, ALSO BE RESPECTFUL TO YOUR CLIENTS, AND MAKE SURE YOUR SHOP IS CLEAN. I WOULD LIKE TO CUT JIM PARSONS' HAIR, MY FAVORITE CELEBRITY, KILLIAN MURPHY. I WOULD LIKE TO CUT NOAH SCHNAP. CUTTING HAIR MAKES ME FEEL GOOD BECAUSE I LIKE TO LOOK FRESH. YOU DON'T WANT TO LOOK MUSTY, CRUSTY OR DUSTY. BECAUSE THAT'S JUST -- NO. IT'S NOT GIVING WHAT IT NEEDS TO GIVE. WHAT IS NEXT FOR THE WORLD'S YOUNGEST FEMALE BARBER, WHATEVER GOD'S
