We're a little over a month into the new year and we hope healthy eating is still at the top of many people's list. Whether you an at-home cook or just getting comfortable in the kitchen, Alicia Quarles has you covered. Like many of you pasta is my comfort food and thanks to our sponsor we can get our pasta fix without the guilt. We have chef Alex guarnaschelli to show us how to make a delicious pasta dish. Take a look. Honestly speaking I'm big on the stuffed vegetables and making vegetables look like meat so we don't miss meat. Like a hearty stuffed mushroom, art choke, vegetables. Then we get into how we add protein to that. A spoonful of walnuts, lentils, things like that. One of the best plant-based things to cook on the planet is pasta obviously. We want it. We want to be able to eat it. Let's talk about that. I love pasta. I'm always trying to make it healthier. You said pasta is healthy. You sent me a bunch of zenb. Tell us about it. Zenb is gluten free, lower net carbs, we love that. Most of all, it's delicious. It's got the tooth as I call it. My grandfather would eat a bowl of pasta and go -- Love that. A lot of these months have been used for us at all being chefs. You're going to show us a great mal. What are you making? This is a dish I really like because it's pasta. It's got roasted vegetables which I love. It's got olive oil which we love and a couple surprising touches. A tou of just red wine vinegar. I know we put lemon zest on our pasta, but here I put a little vinegar which brings out the flavor of the zenb pasta and the vegetables. I took some fresh sage leaves and fried them up in oil and just a little parmesan on top. Another really important thing, Ta a little bit of that hot pasta water, a little bit of that beautiful pasta water, gluten free, and mix it in at the end with a little bit of the vinegar and those fried sage leaves on top. It create as vibe. One more question. I can't wait to try zenb. Why don't you send me any of your food cooked, Alex? I'm being selfish here. That looks so good. Actually, you know what, I should probably make sure my work is good. You know what, next time I'll mail you a bowl of pasta. Thank you. You can get this recipe. You can enter and try to win a one on one virtual cooking class with me. Go to zenb.com/chefalex. You can enter and maybe you can win this cooking class with me and we can do this together. Then you can take home 80 pounds of this pasta. I'm down. I know what I'm cooking tonight. Chef Alex, thank you for your time. Thanks to Alex guarnaschelli for helping me up my pasta game. For you guys at home head to our Facebook page for Alex's recipe. Amy and T.J., my mouth is watering. She rubbed it right in your face eating. Alicia, thank you very much.
