- March Madness. After a thrilling night, half of the Elite 8 is set this morning. Will Reeve is here to break down all the highlights. Some incredible games once again. - Absolutely, Whit. Good morning. You know the law of averages where everything evens out over time? How about the law of Madness in which chaos reigns and the games find their most compelling arc and conclusion. That law was on full display last night in the Sweet 16. Everything that could go mad, did. ANNOUNCER 1: Finding Walker. Walker-- oh, and he's stripped by Nowell. Ball is loose. WILL REEVE: Kansas State pulling out an overtime thriller at Madison Square Garden. Michigan State coming back to tie it with 6 seconds left. ANNOUNCER 1: Walker scores. We're tied at 82. WILL REEVE: Harlem's own Markquis Nowell playing the game of his life. While he missed what would have been the winning shot as time expired, the 5'8" guard coming up huge in the Mecca of basketball. ANNOUNCER 1: Are you kidding? OK. WILL REEVE: 20 points and a Men's Tournament record with 19 assists on the night. ANNOUNCER 2: Florida Atlantic is Elite 8 bound. The Huskies in the Elite 8 for the first time since 2014, denying the Razorbacks a third consecutive trip. But the marquee match-up was the nightcap between UCLA and Gonzaga in a thrilling fight to the finish. UCLA making a comeback bid at the end of the game. Freshman Amari Bailey almost sealing the deal with this big basket with 12 seconds left. ANNOUNCER 3: Got it. got it. Got it. We've got four more games tonight to finalize the Elite Eight, and we are fired up for the women's Sweet 16 to get underway tonight. Four games on the slate, including Villanova Cinderella-- I mean, Miami. The Canes coming off that shocker over one-seed Indiana. And the presumptive Player of the Year, Caitlin Clark, and the Iowa Hawkeyes hitting the court against Colorado. Iowa hasn't made it past the Sweet 16 in Clark's career. With Stanford knocked out of their quarter of their bracket, this could be the big chance to make a deep run. All the action kicks off this afternoon. Catch it on ESPN or on the ESPN app, guys. - Some great games yesterday. We will be watching. Thank you, Will.
