And then in 1984, it was the title track she sang for Flashdance that garnered her an Oscar and a Grammy. Now, throughout the years, Cara continued acting and singing on the big and small screens, as well as on stage. Her publicist says she died in her Florida home. No cause of death has been given. She was 63 years old.
